Publisher terms

Being listed

We index public tools automatically, whether or not their publishers sign up. Listing is free and never requires a claim. We show your tool's public metadata and the results of our checks. If you believe a listing is wrong, claim it and correct it, or email support@mcpvetted.com.

Claiming a tool

To claim a tool you prove you control it through GitHub (you own the repository, when signed in with GitHub) or DNS (a TXT record on the tool's domain, available with any sign-in). You confirm that what you tell us about the tool is accurate and that you have the right to publish it. A verified claim can raise a tool to Verified only if it has already passed our checks.

Tiers can't be bought

Paying for any feature, including publisher sync, never changes a tier, a ranking or the outcome of a check. Sync is billed and run separately from indexing and vetting. We won't sell placement.

Publisher sync

When you buy sync you authorize us to submit your verified listing details to the directories you choose, on your behalf, and to open one pull request per tool on listed GitHub directories. You record that consent at checkout. We only submit what your verified listing says, only where each directory's terms allow it, and we never mass-post or automate form submissions.

Directories decide whether to accept a listing. We report each submission's status in your dashboard but can't guarantee acceptance.

Security issues in your tool

If our checks find a serious problem in a version you publish, we may revoke that version and tell anyone who installed it through us. We'll email the claimed publisher with the findings. After you fix it, the next release is checked like any other.

License to your listing

You give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, index and distribute your tool's public metadata, logos you provide and install details, as part of the Service and the directories you choose for sync.
