Acceptable use policy

Welcome uses

• Searching, comparing and installing tools, by hand or through any agent.
• Building products on the API within the rate limits, with attribution.
• Embedding trust badges and linking to trust pages.
• Security research that follows our disclosure policy.

Not allowed

• Submitting a tool you know to be malicious, or using submissions to probe our systems or anyone else's.
• Trying to game tiers or rankings: fake outcome reports, coordinated installs, sock-puppet publishers, or tools that behave differently when they detect our checks.
• Hiding instructions in tool descriptions aimed at AI models, including our own checks.
• Getting around rate limits by rotating IPs or keys, or scraping pages instead of using the API.
• Attacking, overloading or reverse engineering the Service, or accessing data that isn't yours.
• Using the Service to break the law or infringe others' rights.
• Presenting our trust data as your own ratings without attribution.

What happens if this is broken

Depending on severity, we may rate-limit or block a caller, remove submissions, revoke a tool's tier, delist a publisher, suspend an account, or report illegal activity to the authorities. Where it's safe to, we'll tell you why and give you a way to respond.
